|WWF European Rampage Tour|
|Modes||Single Player, Multi-Player|
WWF European Rampage Tour is a game based on the World Wrestling Federation, created by Arc Developments in 1992 for the Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64 and MSDOS. It capitalises on the success of the first WWF game for home computers, WWF Wrestlemania and was aimed predominantly at the European markets.
The player forms a tag team choosing from "Macho Man" Randy Savage, The Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart and then must first defeat the tag teams of The Nasty Boys, Money Incorporated, and The Natural Disasters three times each (first in The Britannic Arena in London, England, followed by The Deutsche Nationale Arena in Munich, Germany, and finally the Palais Omnisports arena in Paris, France).
The final match is a championship bout with The Legion of Doom in New York City's Madison Square Garden, but it must not be won via a technical countout or the game shall get stuck instead of displaying the "titles cannot change hands via technical wins" message. Before each match, Sean Mooney hosts a report on the event from the WWF Event Center.
Each wrestler possesses several basic wrestling attacks and their own signature grapple maneuver. The action can be less confined to the ring as the player has more room to move around the centre stage and can choose from a variety of weapons to use against opponents. Unlike its predecessor on the Amiga, WWF WrestleMania, there is no time limit for the matches.
The game also features two player title and practice modes.
Commodore 64 versionEdit
The Commodore 64 version plays much like its Amiga counterpart, except it features only singles matches. The four selectable wrestlers from the Amiga version are also present in this version. The player must defeat Jerry Sags from The Nasty Boys, Typhoon from The Natural Disasters, and Irwin R. Schyster from Money Incorporated in various venues before challenging Animal from The Legion of Doom for the championship. A two-player practice mode is also included.
