The World Championship Wrestling (WCW) International World Heavyweight Championship was a championship that took the place of the original NWA World Heavyweight Championship when World Championship Wrestling withdrew from the National Wrestling Alliance in 1993. The name WCW International referred to a fictional international subsidiary of World Championship Wrestling, and this belt was considered its World Heavyweight Championship. Subsequently, the WCW International World Heavyweight Championship was unified with the WCW World Heavyweight Championship.
