Unforgiven (2006) was a pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), which took place on September 17, 2006 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario]. It was the eight annual Unforgiven event. The event starred wrestlers from the Raw brand: storyline expansions of the promotion where employees are assigned to wrestling brands under the WWE banner. The official theme song for the event was "Run" by Day of Fire.

- Dark Match: Super Crazy defeated Shelton Benjamin (7:01)
- Intercontinental Title Match: Johnny Nitro (with Melina Perez) defeated Jeff Hardy to retain the Intercontinental Championship (17:38)
- Melina hit Hardy with the title belt which allowed Nitro to pin Hardy.
- Singles Match: Kane vs. Umaga (with Armando Estrada come to a draw as a result of a Double Count Out (7:03)
- World Tag Team Title Match: The Spirit Squad (Mikey & Nicky (with Johnny, Kenny, and Mitch) defeated The Highlanders (Rory McAllister & Robbie McAllister) (10:00)
- Johnny hit Rory from behind with a martial arts kick, allowing Mikey to pick up the pin after a modified X-Factor.
- Hell in a Cell Three On Two Handicap Match: D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels & Triple H defeated Shane McMahon, Vince McMahon, and The Big Show (25:05)
- HBK set-up and drilled Vince with Sweet Chin Music, which Triple H followed by breaking the sledgehammer over Vince’s back.
- The finish came when Triple H pinned Vince.
- WWE Women's Title Match: Trish Stratus defeated Lita to become the WWE Women's Champion (11:35)
- Trish locked in a Sharpshooter on Lita to get the tap-out victory.
- Singles Match: Randy Orton defeated Carlito (8:42)
- Orton hit the RKO to gain the victory.
- WWE Championship Title Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match: John Cena defeated Edge (with Lita) to become the WWE Champion (25:28)
- Cena won after climbing the ladder after he gave Edge the FU through two stacked tables.
