The TNA Knockout Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling women's tag team championship owned by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion. It is contested for exclusively by teams consisting of two female wrestlers in TNA, known as knockouts, in TNA's women's division. It and the TNA Women's Knockout Championship are the only women's championships contested for in TNA.
The creation of the championship was announced on August 20, 2009 during a backstage segment on TNA's primary television program TNA Impact!. Like most professional wrestling championships, the title is won via the result of a scripted match. Sarita and Taylor Wilde were the inaugural champions. They won a four week tournament to crown the first champions. Angelina Love and Winter are the current champions in their first reign, after defeating Madison Rayne and Tara on December 9, 2010, at the tapings of the December 23 edition of Impact! in a tournament final to win the vacant title.
