TLC 2015 Sheamus v Reigns

With a precisely timed cash-in at Survivor Series, Sheamus snared the top prize in WWE and ruined Roman Reigns’ crowning moment in one fell swoop. But on Dec. 13, at WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs, the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion will have to answer to The Big Dog when he defends the title against Reigns in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match.

WWE COO Triple H announced the rematch on the Nov. 23 edition of Raw, one night after The Celtic Warrior Brogue Kicked his way into the history books. Per match rules, the winner on Dec. 13 will be the first Superstar to climb a ladder and retrieve the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which will hang high above the ring. Tables, ladders and chairs will all be fair game, perfectly legal instruments of destruction to be used by both competitors.

For Reigns, the match represents the latest in a seemingly endless series of obstacles to the WWE World Heavyweight Title. He nearly had the championship won at WrestleMania, only for Seth Rollins to interrupt and cash in his Money in the Bank contract successfully. At Money in the Bank 2015, the all-important contract — the same one ultimately won by Sheamus — seemed within reach, until Bray Wyatt interfered and halted him. Finally, at WWE's fall classic, the title was his, claimed after Reigns went 4-0 in the championship tournament, only for The Celtic Warrior to emerge and unleash two brutal Brogue Kicks. Will Reigns score payback at WWE TLC?

Sheamus will not let the title go without a fight. The double-tough Irishman, now with the endorsement of The Authority, may be more powerful than ever before. After returning to the WWE mountaintop for the first time in years, The Celtic Warrior will likely go to the extreme to defend his newly won title. Without the element of surprise working in his favor, as it had at Survivor Series, will Sheamus be able to stop The Big Dog?

Perhaps most important of all, which Superstar stands to benefit most from the unique — and ultra-dangerous — Tables, Ladders & Charis Match stipulation?
