2CW (Squared Circle Wrestling) was an independent wrestling promotion, based out of Syracuse, New York which began holding events in April 2006. They have held events in Syracuse, Utica, Rochester, Watertown, Oswego, Amsterdam, Binghamton, and Elmira, NY since that time. They utilize local talent and they bring in regional and national workers to make for a well rounded roster.

2CW had two titles, the 2CW Heavyweight Title and the 2CW Tag Team Championships. They've also featured title matches for the TNA X Division Championship, the Pro Wrestling NOAH Global Hardcore Crown, the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. In November 2008, Hellcat and Triple X won the NWA Upstate Tag Team Titles and declared themselves the 2CW Tag Team Champions. 2CW didn't recognize them as such, and it was announced that a tournament would take place in June 2009 to decide the first holders of the 2CW Tag Team Titles.

2CW is also known for their very vocal and supportive fanbase, referred to as "The 2CW faithful." Bill Alfonzo once described the 2CW crowd as being the closest thing that he's seen to the Original ECW fans. In addition to the fans, 2CW has also become very similar to the original ECW in terms of the way it's been shown that anything might happen, and that anyone might show up. For over a year 2CW was involved with the NWA Upstate feud that featured several big matches and crazy brawls that go all over the arena. Including sparking a mini-riot in Binghamton, NY.

The Central New York area used to be a common stop for the major wrestling companies but that changed over the last 20 years and most promotions only run in the New York City area. 2CW has taken that opportunity to bring Professional Wrestling back to the forgotten region of New York State.

2CW held their final event on Sunday, December 20, 2015 in Syracuse, New York. The event was named #2Sets and lasted from 3:30 EST to about 10:45 EST. The card featured many names from 2CW history, including Spike Dudley, Kevin Steen (video format), Jimmy Olsen, Colin Delaney, the Young Bucks, Sami Callihan, Bullet Club, Jason Axe, and many more. The event was sold out twice (2CW released limited amounts of tickets after the initial sellout) and was live streamed over the internet for FPV (Free-Per-View). The #2Sets was trending worldwide on Twitter throughout the day.
