La Silueta (December 15, 1985) is a Mexican professional wrestler currently signed to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). For 15 years, she worked there as a tecnica until 2021 when she became a ruda and changed her name to Dark Silueta.

Professional wrestling career[]

Early career (2006-2010)[]

Silueta began her pro wrestling career in Guadalajara, Jalisco as a masked tecnica, mainly working the few women's matches that were booked at Arena Coliseo Guadalajara. During June 2009 and April 2010, she took some time off from wrestling. Upon returning, she defeated Princesa Maya in a singles match on May 30, 2010. In the months afterwards, Silueta feuded with Zeuxis which led to a Mask vs. Mask match. The match took place on July 18, 2010 where Zeuxis defeated Silueta by disqualification after tricking the referee into thinking Silueta had illegally unmasked her. As a result, Silueta had to give up her mask.

Maskless tecnica and tours in Japan (2010-2017)[]

Silueta went on her first tour of Japan, working matches for REINA from May to July 2011. After returning to Mexico, Silueta debuted in Arena México on August 16, 2011 with a win when she teamed up with Goya Kong and Lady Apache to defeat La Seductora, Princesa Blanca and Zeuxis. On October 11, 2011 Silueta won a Torneo Cibernetico to become the #1 Contender for the CMLL - REINA International Junior Championship. On the next week's Arena Mexico show Silueta defeated Ray to win her first championship.

In January 2012, Silueta went on another tour with REINA. In her first match on January 15, 2012, Silueta defended the CMLL - REINA International Junior Championship against Saya. She continued wrestling in REINA until her tour ended in April. Back in Mexico, Silueta worked numerous tag team matches before returning to Japan on July. During this tour, she debuted in Ice Ribbon, winning a singles match against Hikari Minami.

For the rest of 2012, Silueta mostly worked in CMLL in trios matches. On December 28, 2012, she successfully defended her CMLL - REINA International Junior Championship against Zeuxis. With no Japan tours in 2013, Silueta spent the year with CMLL. On June 4, 2013, Zeuxis defeated Silueta to win the CMLL - REINA International Junior Championship. From 2013 until the end of 2017 Silueta continued wrestling in CMLL while taking various tours of Japan.

Hiatus and return (2018-2020)[]

Towards the end of 2017, Silueta posted on Facebook that she would have to miss a December Martes de Glamour event. On her last Facebook post of the year, she let fans know that she would be out of the ring for all of 2018. She made very few public appearances during that year. On December 2, 2018, Silueta appeared at a benefit show for Cuervo de Puerto Rico. This event was run to help donate money to Cuervo, who was nearly killed by his opponent that threw a cinderblock at his head. She also made an appearance on a TV show called Estacion Central to discuss Lucha libre on November 22, 2018.

Following the full year of inactivity, Silueta wouldn't return to the ring until May 2019. Her first match upon returning was against Lady Flammer at an independent event, which ended in a draw. Her CMLL return was on May 7, 2019, replacing an injured Lluvia for a trios match. Silueta teamed with Avispa Dorada and Maligna as they lost to Dalys la Caribeña, Reyna Isis, and Tiffany. Later that month, she did pick up a few wins on independent events against Lilith Dark and La Magnífica in singles matches. Months later, she let fans know on Twitter that she would temporarily become an independent wrestler, with permission from CMLL. Silueta also put up an image which revealed that she would be working as a heel on independent events - a change not acknowledged in CMLL kayfabe because it happened outside of the promotion.

On the July 31, 2019 episode of CMLL Informa Silueta returned to CMLL for the upcoming Campeonato Universal de Amazonas. She revealed that Sofía Alonso contacted her personally to invite her to the tournament. One of the semifinal matches took place on August 9, 2019 at Arena Mexico where Silueta was among the eliminated women in that match as Dalys La Caribeña advanced to the final. For the rest of 2019, Silueta mainly worked trios matches. This continued until March 13, 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic shut down lucha libre events in Mexico. CMLL did manage to make some TV tapings later in the year, but these would be without fans in attendance, and only in Arena Mexico. This limited Silueta's appearances for the remainder of the year because she lived in Guadalajara rather than Mexico City and there were travel restrictions in place. She teamed up with La Magnifica for the Mexican National Women's Tag Team Championship tournament but lost in the first round to La Amapola and Metalica.

Dark Silueta (2021-present)[]

As the pandemic continued, Silueta was left without bookings until she returned on April 6, 2021 teaming up with Sexy Sol and Mystique. They defeated Nautica, Sadica and Valkiria but there were signs of trouble brewing between Mystique and Silueta. The next week's Martes de Glamour event in Guadalajara had Silueta team up with Mystique again, and the duo took on La Comandante and Valkiria. Once again, Mystique made mistakes in the match and this time they led to a defeat. The frustrated Silueta attacked Mystique, and officially turned heel for the first time in CMLL. From here on, she would be known as Dark Silueta. Additionally, the feud with Mystique kept going until Mystique left lucha libre on July 13th.

The Occidente Women's Championship became active again in June 2021, and a tournament was held to determine the new champion. It began at Arena Coliseo Guadalajara's 62nd Anniversary show with a Torneo Cibernetico match. Lluvia, Sexy Sol, Dark Silueta and Stephanie Vaquer advanced to the semifinal. The semifinal took place on the next week's Martes de Glamour where Dark Silueta and Lluvia were victorious. At the tournament final on July 6, 2021, Dark Silueta won the Occidente Women's Championship and was handed the belt by former Occidente Women's Champion Lola González. During this period, Silueta returned to Arena Mexico on June 25, 2021, making her first appearance there since becoming Dark Silueta.

August saw the return of the Universal tournament de Amazonas. The semifinal match on August 20, 2021 saw Dark Silueta and La Jarochita come out victorious, advancing to the final. Both competitors made history on the next week's show by main eventing it, making that match the 4th singles women's match to ever main event on a Friday Arena Mexico show.

August also saw an announcement regarding the CMLL 88th Anniversary Show that there would be 5 Championship matches where the fans could vote, deciding who would be the challengers. More importantly, the number of votes per poll determined the order of the card. That was an idea done in the past, but the voting this time around led to a historic moment. For the first time ever, women would main event an Aniversario event with the National Women's Tag Team Championship on the line. The fans chose Dark Silueta and Reyna Isis as the challengers against defending champions La Jarochita and Lluvia which saw the champions retain.

October had another major opportunity for the women's division. An alliance between CMLL and Ice Ribbon had been announced in September and on October 8, 2021, the first ever Grand Prix Internacional de Amazonas took place. This was a Torneo Cibernetico match between Team Mexico and Team Rest of the World which had Stephanie Vaquer, Avispa Dorada, Sonya, Momo Kohgo, Tsukushi and Tsukasa Fujimoto. After many eliminations, it all came down to Dark Silueta representing Mexico against Tsukushi and Tsukasa Fujimoto with Silueta picking up the victory for Team Mexico. Místico came down to the ring to present the trophy to her after the match.

In the same month, Dark Silueta had also won the Arena Queretaro Women's Championship in a singles match against Miss Delicius at an independent event. Towards the end of October, she took part in the first ever Torneo Increible de Amazonas. Her partner was none other than La Jarochita, and together, they reached the final where they lost to Dalys and Princesa Sugehit.

Early in November, Dark Silueta and La Jarochita teamed up again in a relevos increibles match against Marcela and Reyna Isis. The finish saw Dark Silueta pin Reyna Isis, leading to a title match for Reyna's Mexican National Women's Championship. On November 16, 2021, Silueta defeated Reyna Isis becoming the new champion.

On the November 23, 2021 Martes de Glamour event, Jarochita and Lluvia defeated Dark Silueta and Nautica by disqualification when Silueta unmasked Lluvia. This ignited a feud between the two. Lluvia defeated Dark Silueta in the next week's Martes de Glamour, and requested a National Women's Championship shot. The December 7, 2021 Martes de Glamour show was where Dark Silueta retained her championship against Lluvia, winning two falls to none, with controversial refereeing in the second fall. The feud subsided during January 2022, partially due to CMLL having a two week shutdown of events during that month. However, the February 18, 2022 Arena Mexico show was where the rivalry picked back up, with Lluvia pinning Dark Silueta in a trios match. After Lluvia's team won, she challenged Dark Silueta again for the National Women's Championship. Silueta accepted, and on the next week's Friday Arena Mexico show, Dark Silueta retained her championship again.

At the 66th Anniversary of Arena Mexico, CMLL had the first ever women's Relevos Atomicos match. There, the team of Dalys, Lluvia, Marcela and Reyna Isis defeated Dark Silueta, Jarochita, Princesa Sugehit and Stephanie Vaquer. On the May 24, 2022 Arena Mexico show, La Magnifica pinned Dark Silueta to win a trios match. Following that win, Magnifica challenged Silueta for the National Women's Championship. Dark Silueta successfully defended her championship on the next week's Tuesday Arena Mexico show.
