- The final two participants were Ric Flair and Sid Justice. Hulk Hogan, who was just eliminated by Sid, was not pleased over the result and grabbed Sid's arm. This help from Hogan assists Flair's elimination of Sid to become the new WWF Champion.
- Randy Savage momentarily forgot about the rules of the match when he jumped over the top rope after the just-eliminated Jake Roberts, as this would usually mean an elimination. The Undertaker went after Savage and threw him back into the ring. This was covered up with explanation that Savage was not eliminated because he wasn't eliminated by any particular person.
- Following the match, Hulk Hogan and Sid had a brawl in the ring while Ric Flair was interviewed backstage (along with Mr. Perfect and Bobby Heenan) over his win.
- Winner: Ric Flair (1:02:02)
