Royal Rumble 1990 was the third annual Royal Rumble event from the World Wrestling Federation. It took place on January 21, 1990 at the Orlando Arena in Orlando, Florida.

- Tag Team Match: The Bushwhackers (Butch & Luke) vs. The Fabulous Rougeaus (Jacques & Raymond Rougeau)
- Butch pinned Jacques after the two hit the Battering Ram.
- Winner: The Bushwhackers (13:35).
- Singles Match: Brutus Beefcake vs. The Genius
- Beefcake locked in a sleeper after referee Earl Hebner was knocked down and then went to cut The Genius's hair. After Mr. Perfect attacked Brutus, Hebner recovered and double disqualified both men.
- Winner: Draw (11:07).
- Submission Match: Greg Valentine vs. Ronnie Garvin
- Garvin forced Valentine to submit with a Reverse Figure Four Leg-lock.
- Winner: Ronnie Garvin (16:55).
- Singles Match: Jim Duggan vs. The Big Bossman
- Boss Man was disqualified after hitting Duggan with his nightstick.
- Winner: Jim Duggan(10:26).
- Royal Rumble Match: Akeem vs. Andre The Giant vs. Ax vs. Bad News Brown vs. Bret Hart vs. Dino Bravo vs. Dusty Rhodes vs. Earthquake vs. Haku vs. Hercules vs. Hulk Hogan vs. Jake Roberts vs. Jimmy Snuka vs. Jim Neidhart vs. Koko B. Trivia
- An "episode" of the Brother Love Show aired and featured "Sensational" Queen Sherri and Sapphire. The two got into a heated argument, leading into a brawl between the two. Randy Savage and Dusty Rhodes then joined them. Rhodes and Sapphire clean out the ring including Brother Love.
- Ted DiBiase broke Curt Hennig's longevity record, lasting 44:47.
