Rodney Anoa'i (October 2, 1966 – October 23, 2000) is a deceased American professional wrestler. Under the ring name Yokozuna Anoa'i held the WWF Championship twice as well as the WWF World Tag Team Championship twice with tag team partner Owen Hart. Trained by his uncle Afa Anoa'i, Rodney initially wrestled as the Great Kokina and Kokina Maximus on the Independent circuit. Once he signed with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) he adopted the gimmick of a Japanese Sumo wrestler called Yokozuna. In the late 1990s Rodney was fired from the WWF since he could not pass a physical due to his weight.
On October 23, 2000 Rodney Anoa'i died from a heartattack most likely brought on by his weight problems.
