The 8th Anniversary Show was a professional wrestling event promoted by Ring of Honor. It took place on February 13, 2010 at the Manhattan Center in New York City, New York. The show featured Tyler Black in his final opportunity to challenge Austin Aries for the ROH World Championship, as well as the return of ROH "founding father" Brian "Spanky" Kendrick after a four-year absence.
Following their one-hour draw at Final Battle 2009, Ring of Honor officials granted Tyler Black a rematch for the ROH World Championship on the condition that should he lose, he would never get another opportunity to challenge Austin Aries for the title regardless of ranking in the Pick 6. In order to ensure there was a decisive winner, three judges were chosen to sit at ringside and vote on a winner should the match go to another draw. Black and Aries were each given an opportunity to select one of the judges, with Executive Producer Jim Cornette picking the final judge on behalf of Ring of Honor. Black would chose Roderick Strong for his judge, while Aries chose Kenny King. Cornette would name himself as the third and final judge.
