Curtis Michael Hennig (March 28, 1958 – February 10, 2003) was an American wrestler who competed for the American Wrestling Association, World Wrestling Federation, and World Championship Wrestling promotions. He was known as Mr. Perfect while in World Wrestling Federation. He was the longest-reigning WWF Intercontinental Champion of the 1990s.
As his track record indicated, it seems as if the Intercontinental Title belonged to Mr. Perfect. Just look back at his career. He first captured the belt by winning a single elimination INC title tournament shortly after WrestleMania VI. Perfect who was one of the most technically endowed athletes ever to compete in the WWF, went on to defend the title against the most gifted superstars he was able to oppose. He continued to do so until SummerSlam 1990, when in a match against the Texas Tornado, Perfect lost the Championship for the first time. This loss however, only served to infuriate Perfect, and he won back the belt from Tornado in a disputable rematch. He died due to his overdose of drugs.
