Michael Saunders is an American professional wrestler better known as Michael Maddness.

Career HistoryEdit

Mike Saunders began his wrestling career as a student with the AWA, Known as the Alaska wrestling alliance Or Alaska Working Actors in 1998. Mike was 1 of 25 guys that paid the 3 grand for training and was run by Al Burke ( Mr outrageous) and Nick Danger After 6 months of training Al and Nick had such no hope in Mike that he was given the gimmick the out patent. The Following week Mike would loose the World title match in a Looser wears a dress match where Mike would wear a dress untill he won a match. A few months later after he continued to promote himself Mike baught a belt and calles himself the AWA Alaska Champion, This created alot of anger from the roster of the AWA since Mike was not the best wrestler on the roster but was the fattest and had the most heart. In 2001 the AWA Roster started AWF and left the AWA.In 2002 Nick Danger decided to move back to Las Vegas and sold his 1/2 of AWA to Mike. Mike was to be the Promoter and Al was to be the Booker. Mike was to go out and get sponsors and set up shows. Al was to Book the talent. After Mike did 1 show, as a partner with Al the AWA had a lose of 5 grand because of Mikes lack of intelligance and ability to speak clearly. When Mike approached Al about not being a equal partner in the duties, tension rose. The partnership between Al and Mike desolved in 2004. Mike would start working with the AWF and would book shows for AWF in Dillingham and Nome Alaska. After 4 yrs of Retirement Mike had to get back into the wrestling business and formed Alaska pro wrestling a wrestling company on the basis of raising money for charity( No charity has confermed any donation given by APW). In 2010 www.alaskaprowrestling.com was started and is a complete joke, Mike in 2011 started the APW/Maddness school of wrestling with the money he barrowed from Nick Danger, in a local Mall and could not train guys himself and by June he had to close the school&nbsp In late 2011 Saunders would partner with Matt Plant and work on 2 shows in Jan 2012 Plant would Book the Egan Center and Saunders would book Wasilla middle school. The shows were not promoted the best and the Egan Show was a total failure. The wasilla show was barely any better. Currently Saunders is still promoting APW in Alaska and Runs monthly shows, that are awful with wanna-be wrestlers immatating what they see on tv. in Anchorage at the Mtn View Rec Center. He is using all wrestling school dropouts, like BONEZ, and AK LIGHTNING and flies up talent from the west coast when he can. Mr Saunders is working on taking another APW guy to Mexico and train and wrestle there, but wont happend because he has no credibility and every thing saunders says is a lie. Mike also attends the CAC reunion in Las Vegas, and takes pictures with real workers and pretends that they are his friends. Mike Saunders will continue to run poor quality wrestling shows for some time to come.
