Maple Leaf Gardens is a historic arena in downtown Toronto, on the northwest corner of Carlton Street and Church Street. Constructed as an arena for professional ice hockey, it has been since been converted into a multi-purpose building including retail uses and an athletic centre for Ryerson University known collectively as Mattamy Athletic Centre at the Gardens.

Various sports teams have called the Gardens home over the years. The most notable was the Toronto Maple Leafs, of the NHL, who occupied it from 1931 to 1999. Other hockey teams include Toronto Marlboros and the Toronto St. Michael's Majors of the Ontario Hockey League, Toronto Toros of the WHA. Other non Hockey tenants included the Buffalo Braves and Tornoto Raptors of the NBA; and lacrosse teams of Toronto Shooting Stars and Toronto Tomahawks.

The current occupants of the gardens is the Ryerson University athletic department.
