Jack Krueger (born John Krueger 1956, Danville, Illinois) is a retired wrestler/referee who is best known for his work in the World Wrestling Federation/Entertainment in the mid 1980s to the early 1990s.

Early career

Jack Krueger started out wrestling in the Kansas City territory under his own name in the late 1975. Kruger worked as an enhancement wrestler on televised matches emanating from that territory. He later donned a mask and became one half of the Bounty Hunters tag team.

WWA

Jack soon settled in Dick the Bruiser's WWA in 1981. Under the moniker of Sheik Ali Hassan, Krueger has his most successful run as a wrestler, teaming up with Abdullah The Great to win the WWA Tag Team titles in June 1982. He returned to the area after an extensive stay in Memphis to team with Jerry Valiant to win the WWA tag team titles for a second and third time in 1983.

CWA Memphis

Krueger had two stints in the Memphis CWA territory. In 1980 as Sheik Abdullah Hassan teaming with Paul Ellering to win the AWA Southern Tag Team title. In his second stint Krueger changed his name and persona to The Iranian Assassin and teamed with The Cuban Assassin (Angel Acevedo) and joined Jimmy Hart's First Family. Kruger was seen in the video for Jimmy Hart's song "We Hate School" playing the drums.

Pacific Northwest

Under the name of Sheik Abdullah Ali Hassan captured the NWA Pacific Northwest Heavyweight title from Brett Wayne Sawyer in December 1982, he lost the title to young up and comer, Curt Hennig in May 1983.

Central States

After finishing his stay in PNW, he moved to NWA Central States, this would prove to be Krueger's most successful stay. Teaming with Roger Kirby as "The Sheiks" and winning the NWA Central States tag team titles on two occasions.

WWF

Jack joined the WWF roster as an enhancement talent in late 1985, he reformed his tag team with Roger Kirby with little success. In 1986 Krueger was involved in the "Kamala top rope splash" angle on WWF Television, where he was injured and stretchered out of the arena after a Kamala top rope splash. Kruger was interviewed where he said "he'd never sign to wrestle Kamala again" in fear of the splash. Krueger later became a WWF referee and road agent and stayed with the WWF until the early 1990s before retiring.
