It's A Beautiful Life? is the 53rd episode of WWE Total Divas and the 8th in season four.
Anything Brie can do, Nikki can do better? The Bellas' competitive juices take the sisters from the recording studio (really) to a hockey rink (double really).
The old expression is that age ain’t nothin’ but a number, but an offhanded remark from WWE officials about transferring into an ambassadorial role has Natalya feeling somewhat obsolete on E!’s “Total Divas,” and the typically-vibrant Queen of Harts isn’t taking it all that well. In fact, Natalya’s reactions range from the borderline insane — learning street slang from R-Truth — to overly emotional — weeping in a parking lot after a minor meltdown. It looks for a while like our girl Nattie might not even make it through the hour, let alone the remainder of her career until retirement, but finding common ground with Nikki Bella reinvigorates her and puts all insecurities to bed.
Speaking of Nikki, the competitive juices of the Bellas get flowing once again when Brie is recruited to sing her own theme song, with less-than-ideal results. Believing she can one-up her sister in all areas of life, Nikki books a recording session for herself and fails in even more cringe-worthy fashion. Not that this stops her boasting, so Brie one-ups her once and for all by convincing Nikki she’s been booked to sing the national anthem at a hockey game, leading to a minor panic attack before the ruse is revealed. Brie Mode for the win.
With that settled, we check in on our resident mischief-maker of the Divas division, Paige! And her boyfriend! Kevin Skaff is back, bearing flowers on the set of “Santa’s Little Helper” and having pleasant, mildly-flirty interactions with fans that get Paige super territorial in a hurry. Rosa comes up with a brilliant (read: horrifying) scheme to “test” Kevin’s loyalty by bribing some random girl to hit on him at a bar. He declines the attention, but when Paige reveals the trick he’s understandably furious. He can’t stay mad, though, and after Paige goes over her trust issues, all is well in her house once again.
