Legendary is a heel tag team of female professional wrestlers in the SHINE Wrestling promotion. The team consists of Malia Hosaka and Brandi Wine, with Leilani Kai becoming their manager in June 2014. ThunderKitty joined the group in August 2014.
History[]
Brandi Wine and Malia Hosaka first appeared together at SHINE 8 on March 23, 2013, with Hosaka in Wine's corner as she was defeated by Jayme Jameson. The duo returned at SHINE 13 on August 23, which saw Wine face off against Santana Garrett. Hosaka's interference led to the singles match being thrown out and modified into a tag team match that also involved Santana's tag team partner, Amber O'Neal. Hosaka and Wine lost to Santana and O'Neal, who were known as The American Sweethearts. Hosaka and Wine were announced to be part of the SHINE Tag Team Championship Tournament at SHINE 17, and they were officially given the name Legendary. At the event on February 28, Legendary lost to The Buddy System (Solo Darling and Heidi Lovelace) in the first round. At SHINE 20 on June 27, Legendary (with Leilani Kai in their corner) defeated The Buddy System, The S-N-S Express, and Kimber Lee in a Four Corners Survival Match to earn an opportunity at the SHINE Tag Team Championship. Later in the event, Legendary defeated The Lucha Sisters to win the tag titles. At SHINE 21 on August 22, Legendary retained the titles against The Lucha Sisters in a rematch, with the win coming due to interference from ThunderKitty, who turned heel by attacking Leva Bates.
