Edward Umar Fatu (March 28, 1973 - December 4, 2009) was a Samoan wrestler formerly known for his work with WWE, known by ring names Umaga, and Jamal of 3-Minute Warning. He was released by the WWE on June 8, 2009 for violation of the WWE's Wellness Policy.

Fatu tragically passed away on December 4th, 2009, of a heart attack while in the hospital. He was only 36.

Death

Former WWE star Umaga (Eddie Fatu) was found dead at December 4th, 2009 by his wife.

The original suspicion on cause of death is prescription pills, as Umaga was reportedly found bleeding from his nose and mouth.
