WWE NXT (2012–2013)
Rexrode was trained by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T while in the company's developmental program NXT. He debuted on November 29, 2012 as Denton Blackwell. On this date, he wrestled a tag team match during a NXT House Show, teaming with Garrett Dylan, losing to Aiden English & Oliver Grey. On the following day on November 30, Blackwell and Dylan defeated English and Grey. At the NXT House Show held on December 12, Blackwell wrestled in a triple threat match against Yoshi Tatsu and the match winner Enzo Amore. On January 3, 2013 Blackwell teamed with Travis Tyler in a tag team match won by Mason Ryan & Percy Watson. On January 17, Blackwell wrestled his final match, losing to Judas Devlin. Blackwell was eventually released from the WWE. He has not wrestled since 2013.
