Dean Simon (August 4, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler, better known by his ring name Dean Malenko. He is currently signed to WWE working as a road agent. He is best known for his time with Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the World Wrestling Federation (then WWF, now WWE). Malenko was recognized for his technical wrestling ability and calculating demeanor in the ring. He held championships throughout all three American organizations he competed for including a 4-time title reign as the WCW Cruiserweight Champion, a WCW World Tag Team Champion with Chris Benoit, a 2-time reign as the ECW World Television Champion and a title reign as ECW World Tag Team Champion with Benoit. During his WWF tenure, he was a 2-time WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Afterwards, Malenko became a backstage worker for WWF, lending his experience to help train upcoming wrestlers in the company.
