• January 27 - WWF Saturday Night's Main Event: WWF World Heavyweight Champion Hulk Hogan & the Ultimate Warrior beat Mr. Perfect & The Genius when Hogan pinned the Genius following a legdrop
• April 28 - WWF Saturday Night's Main Event: Hulk Hogan beat Mr. Perfect with the legdrop
• July 28 - WWF Saturday Night's Main Event: WWF Intercontinental Champion Curt Hennig pinned Tito Santana to retain the title

• November 14 - WWF Saturday Night's Main Event: The Ultimate Maniacs (The Ultimate Warrior & Randy Savage) defeated WWF World Tag Team Champions Money Inc (Ted DiBiase & IRS) by countout. Ric Flair, Razor Ramon and Mr. Perfect attacked the Maniacs after the match.

• December 28 - WCW Starrcade at the MCI Center in Washington: Diamond Dallas Page pinned Curt Hennig

1998

• April 19 - WCW Spring Stampede: Curt Hennig (w/Rick Rude) pinned British Bulldog (w/Jim Neidhart) after throwng Bulldog's head into the ringpost. Rude and Neidhart were handcuffed together until Vincent - dressed as a local cop - unlocked Rude and handcuffed Neidhart to the ring.

2002
