Christopher Hayes was born into a military family. He was 10 years old when his father retired from the Marine Corps and settled the family in Remington, VA, a small town west of Quantico, VA and Quantico Marine Corps Base. After the attacks, of 9/11, Hayes enlisted in the Marine Corps. While still too young to officially enlist, he began his P.T. in preparation for his departure to boot camp in Parris Island, SC. In August 2002, Hayes left the comfort of Remington and his family and with his new "brothers" headed to Parris Island for his basic training. Upon graduating from Parris Island, Hayes and his friends took a trip to Charleston, SC. By chance, Hayes met Summer Andrews. The two became fast friends and remained in contact through the remainder of his military career. In May of 2003, Hayes was discharged due to a knee injury, and quickly returned to Remington. He began wrestling shortly after and by chance in 2004, he and Summer found themselves in the same federation. The two hooked up and became an unstoppable force. In October 2005, the two got married in a quiet ceremony in front of family and friends. The two took some time off from wrestling to settle into their new lives. After their three-year hiatus, the two decided it was time to get back to their roots. They made the return to the wrestling business in February 2009 for Hardcore Championship Wrestling (now Carolina Wrestling Superstars).
