  • May 27, 2002 - Monday Night Raw live at Skyreach Centre in Edmonton: Chris Benoit returns in his hometown from a year-long neck injury. At the beginning of the show, he had a verbal altercation with WWE Intercontinental Champion Eddie Guerrero and Raw Owner Ric Flair, which caused him to be kicked out of the building (he would return later with a ticket). After the main event, in which Rob Van Dam won the Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match, Benoit turned on Stone Cold Steve Austin and realigned with Guerrero.
