Bobby Fish (October 27, 1976) is an American professional wrestler previously signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). He has wrestled in Ring of Honor, Evolve, Pro Wrestling NOAH and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) on NXT. Pro Wrestling Illustrated ranked him #280 of the 500 best singles wrestlers of the PWI 500 in 2009, up from number #303 the previous year. In 2010, he began competing in mixed martial arts.

Professional wrestling career[]

Independent circuit (2002-2017)[]

Bobby Fish made his pro wrestling debut in 2002 after training with Tony Devito. He competed for several years in the Northeast under the names Jerk Jackson and Madden Fisher before settling on the name he continues to use, Bobby Fish. He made his debut for Ring of Honor on October 2, 2004 where he teamed with Scott Cardinal and lost to the Rebel's Army.He would be utilized as a jobber for ROH for the entirety of his early appearance. Fish wrestled for Pro Wrestling Unplugged for the majority of his early career making his debut in February 2005. He formed a partnership with Scott Cardinal, whom he had wrestled many time on the Northeast indie scene. On May 20, he and Cardinal defeated three other teams to win the vacant PWU Tag Team Championship before vacating them in September.

After returning from his first tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH, Fish returned to the Northeastern independent circuit and continues to compete there when he returns from Noah tours. Fish wrestled for New England Championship Wrestling regularly between his early tours of Noah. In April 2007, he defeated DC Dillinger in a match for the NECW Undisputed Triple Crown Championship but didn't win the title due to DQ. He took part in Iron 8 2007, making the final before losing to Eddie Edwards in the final. Fish returned to ROH at Reborn Again, losing to Claudio Castagnoli, Final Battle losing to the Vulture Squad and appeared in several matches on Ring of Honor Wrestling in 2009.

Pro Wrestling NOAH (2006-2013)[]

Fish first toured Japan in 2006 with Pro Wrestling NOAH, making his debut on May 19, 2006 defeating Atsushi Aoki. Since 2006, Fish continues to tour with Noah at least once a year, sometimes enjoying several tours a year. In 2010, Fish and Eddie Edwards lost to Ricky Marvin and Taiji Ishimori in the semi final of the GHC Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship tournament. Fish participated in 2011s Global League gaining only four points. In 2012, Fish and Edwards participated in NTV G Cup Junior Heavyweight League, once again gaining four points. From April 17 to 24, 2013, Fish and Edwards took part in the 2013 Global Tag League, where they won one of their four matches, failing to advance from their block.

Ring Of Honor[]

On March 2, 2013, Fish and Kyle O'Reilly defeated the Briscoe Brothers for the ROH World Tag Team Championship. On January 10, 2010, he performed in the opening match at Evolve 1, in which he lost to Kyle O'Reilly via pinfall.

Mixed Martial Arts[]

Fish trained with Jerrick Jones at Albany Boxing before his MMA debut on January 29, 2010. He had his first fight for the Cage Wars organization at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany, NY and defeated Justin Pierpoint by TKO in the 3rd round after Pierpoint suffered a broken nose at the end of the 2nd.

In 2009, he was announced as one of the participants scheduled to wrestle on the first Evolve Wrestling show.

World Wrestling Entertainment[]

NXT (2017–2021)[]

Fish, while not signed to a contract, made his debut in WWE's developmental territory NXT at the June 23, 2017 television tapings, losing to Aleister Black. On July 12, the same day Fish's match against Aleister Black aired, Triple H confirmed Fish's signing. Following Alexander Wolfe and Eric Young's victory over The Authors of Pain at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, Fish, alongside Kyle O'Reilly, attacked the two SAnitY members. Later that night, Fish and O'Reilly aided Adam Cole in ambushing NXT Champion Drew McIntyre. Soon after, Fish, O'Reilly, and Cole would be dubbed The Undisputed Era. At NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Cole, Fish, and O'Reilly defeated SAnitY and The Authors of Pain, who partnered with Roderick Strong, in the WarGames Match. On the December 20 episode of NXT, Fish and O'Reilly defeated Eric Young and Killian Dain of SAnitY to win the NXT Tag Team Championship. Fish and O'Reilly made their first defence on the January 10, 2018 episode of NXT, defeating Aleister Black and Roderick Strong. At NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia, Fish and O'Reilly retained against The Authors of Pain. At a house show on March 4, Fish tore his ACL and MCL and was consequentially sidelined until October. During Fish's absence, Cole occupied Fish's role as NXT Tag Team Champion. Roderick Strong would later replace Cole as champion, having joined The Undisputed Era at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans.

At NXT TakeOver: WarGames II, Fish returned, taking part in the WarGames Match, which saw Pete Dunne, Ricochet and The War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe) defeat The Undisputed Era. On the March 6, 2019 episode of NXT, Fish and O'Reilly took part in the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but were eliminated by DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) in the first round. At NXT TakeOver: XXV, Fish and O'Reilly competed in a Fatal Four Way Tag Team Ladder Match for the vacant NXT Tag Team Championship, but were unsuccessful in winning the title. Two months later at NXT TakeOver: Toronto II, Fish and O'Reilly challenged NXT Tag Team Champions The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) in a losing effort. However, on the August 28 episode of NXT, Fish and O'Reilly defeated The Street Profits, winning the NXT Tag Team Championship for a second time. Fish made his main roster debut on the November 22 episode of SmackDown, teaming with Cole, O'Reilly, and Strong to defeat Heavy Machinery (Otis and Tucker) and The New Day (Big E and Kofi Kingston) in an Eight Man Tag Team Match. At NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2019, The Undisputed Era were defeated by Team Ciampa (Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee, Kevin Owens, and Tommaso Ciampa) in a WarGames Match. The following night, on the Survivor Series Kickoff, Fish and O'Reilly, representing NXT, were unsuccessful in winning a Three Way Tag Team Match against The Viking Raiders from Raw and The New Day from SmackDown.

In January 2020, Fish and O'Reilly competed in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but were eliminated in the semi final by Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson). Heading into Worlds Collide, The Undisputed Era began a feud with NXT UK stable Imperium. At Worlds Collide, Imperium defeated The Undisputed Era in an Eight Man Tag Team Match. Fish and O'Reilly would then go on to lose the NXT Tag Team Championship to The BroserWeights (Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne) at NXT TakeOver: Portland. In the months following the loss, Fish and O'Reilly would have a number of opportunities to regain the championship, but were unsuccessful. The Undisputed Era would assist Cole in his feud with Pat McAfee, which culminated at NXT TakeOver: WarGames 2020. At the event, The Undisputed Era defeated McAfee, Danny Burch, Oney Lorcan, and Pete Dunne in a WarGames Match. However, during the bout, Fish injured his triceps, putting him out of action.

During Fish's time away, The Undisputed Era disbanded. Fish would return on the May 11, 2021 episode of NXT, helping O'Reilly fend off Pete Dunne and Oney Lorcan. On the May 25 episode of NXT, Fish returned to the ring, suffering a loss to Dunne. Fish wrestled his final match for NXT on the August 3 episode of NXT, losing to former stablemate Roderick Strong. On August 6, Fish was released from WWE.

Major League Wrestling (2021)[]

In September 2021, it was announced that Fish would make his debut for Major League Wrestling (MLW) as a participant in the Opera Cup. On the October 27 episode of Fusion: ALPHA, Fish defeated Lee Moriarty in the Opera Cup first round. However, two weeks later, Fish was eliminated in the semi final by Davey Richards.

All Elite Wrestling (2021-2022)[]

On the October 6, 2021 episode of Dynamite, Fish debuted for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), challenging TNT Champion Sammy Guevara in a losing effort. Later that night, it was revealed Fish had signed with AEW. Fish would be reunited with Adam Cole and later reunited with Kyle O'Reilly after he began working for AEW in December. On the February 23, 2022 episode of Dynamite, Fish and O'Reilly won a Tag Team Battle Royal to earn an AEW World Tag Team Championship opportunity. At Revolution, Fish and O'Reilly failed to win a Three Way Tag Team Match that involved The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) and AEW World Tag Team Champions Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus). On the April 13 episode of Dynamite, Fish and O'Reilly challenged Jurassic Express, but were defeated. The following month, Fish failed to qualify for the Owen Hart Cup after losing to Jeff Hardy. On the July 18 episode of Dark: Elevation, Fish defeated Blake Li in his final AEW match. On August 31, Fish's contract expired and was not renewed.

Impact Wrestling (2022-present)[]

At Victory Road, Fish made his Impact Wrestling debut, cutting a promo before fighting off Raj Singh and Shera. Fish would compete in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at Bound For Glory, but failed to win. On the October 13, 2022 episode of iMPACT!, Fish failed to defeat Impact World Champion Josh Alexander.

New Japan Pro Wrestling STRONG (2022-present)[]

On the December 3, 2022 episode of STRONG, following Danny Limelight's loss to Homicide, Fish debuted, attacking Homicide. As a result, Fish joined Team Filthy.
