The April 6, 2000 Edition of Smackdown is a Professional wrestling television show of the WWE's Smackdown brand, which took place on April 4, 2000 at the San Jose Arena in San Jose, California.

WWF IC Champion Chris Benoit pinned Rikishi at 1:55 with a northern lights suplex after the challenger hit the corner.

After the bout, Rikishi dropped Benoit with a Samoan Drop, gave him the Stinkface, hit a belly to belly suplex, and finished with the Bonzai Drop.

The Dudley Boyz defeated Test & Albert (w/ Trish Stratus) when Bubba Ray pinned Test following the 3D at 5:08.

After the bout, Bubba Ray grabbed Trish and appeared to have intentions of putting her through a table but T&A were able to escape before anything took place.
Moments later, The Hardy Boyz ran to the ring and brawled with the Dudleyz until the four men were pulled apart by officials.

Tazz fought Perry Saturn to a no contest when the two men began brawling on the floor before the bout began and eventually took the battle backstage.

The Big Bossman & Bull Buchanan defeated Al Snow & Steve Blackman.

WWF Light Heavyweight Champion Dean Malenko pinned Taka Michinoku.

The Big Show pinned The Godfather.

WWF Tag Team Champions Edge & Christian defeated Hardcore Holly & Kurt Angle.

The Rock fought Road Dogg & X-Pac to a no contest in a handicap match.

Other Segments

Several members of the Oakland Raiders were in attendance for the event.
Included Vince McMahon & Shane McMahon ordering referee Earl Hebner to come out and address his actions on Monday when he counted Triple H down in the main event even though he wasn't a participant.

Vince then threatened to knock Hebner on his ass if he ever did something like that again.
After Hebner left, Vince ordered ring announcer Lilian Garcia to come out and answer as to why she announced The Rock as the winner of the match.
Vince stated that pretty women with a little talent are a dime a dozen and she could be easily replaced if she messed up again.
Vince then said he and Shane would face the Rock later in the night in a handicap bout.
