Mike Maraldo (born June 27, 1974) is a retired American professional wrestler best known by his ring name Ace Darling. Darling has wrestled in various Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware independent promotions, such as the East Coast Wrestling Association, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, New Jack City Wrestling, Independent Superstars of Pro Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling, and Pennsylvania Championship Wrestling. He has also appeared on TV for the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling.
Career
Darling trained at Mike Sharpe's wrestling school in Bricktown, New Jersey. Early in his career, he tagged with Mr. Motion as Young Lust. Throughout the 1990s, Ace wrestled for the ECWA, World Wide Wrestling Alliance, PCW, and ISPW. In 1998, he won the PCW Tag Team Championship with Glen Osbourne in Reading, Pennsylvania. He was a frequent tag partner of Super Nova, as well as Devon Storm. Storm and Darling were known as The Extremists in WCW. In 1997, Darling won the inaugural ECWA Super 8 Tournament. From 2002 through 2004, he was the head trainer at King Kong Bundy's wrestling school. He officially retired from wrestling on September 27, 2008.
