In September-October 2012, the WWE held a Tag Team tournament to determine the #1 contenders to face Team Hell No for the WWE Tag Team Championship at Hell in a Cell 2012. Eight tag teams were arranged to compete. It has also been called the 'WWE Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contenders' Tournament. Or the 2012 WWE Tag Team Championship Tournament.
